The BalleCore Workout
BalleCore is an innovative 55-minute class designed to condition body and mind. At the heart of the class is the artistry and athleticism of Ballet movements creatively balanced and blended with principles drawn from Pilates and Hatha Yoga. There are no dance combinations to memorize so anyone can enjoy the class regardless of their background!
The BalleCore Workout focuses on:
- Developing abdominal strength
- Full body conditioning, heat and control
- Experiencing graceful body movement
- Encouraging greater flexibility
- Increasing the power and focus of body and mind
- Improving balance and coordination
- Delivering all this in a no or low-impact format
The BalleCore Workout includes a precise sequence of powerful Pilates mat work and floor ballet structured to strengthen and lengthen every muscle group, and to impart an understanding of functional movement from the center outward.
The standing variations are designed to challenge one's balance, stamina and coordination from this center-outward awareness and strength. Most moves incorporate the use of the BalleCore Barre™. It's many benefits stem from its light weight and unique design allowing for endless versatility in standing and mat work. Proper instruction in using the BalleCore Barre can benefit both advanced and novice students or those with special needs, such as pregnancy, or injuries.
